Pirates - yargh!
Lots of real pirates in the news these days. Something I don't understand about it: why don't we, meaning the US, just blast them out of the water? Literally.
Like, lots of pirates are now converging on the drifting lifeboat with the captive American captain. So that means lots of pirates can be blasted out of the water in a very small area. So let's do it. If that captain dies that's too bad, but hey he knew the job was dangerous and he took it. The remaining pirates would learn a big-time lesson in the process: the USA will treat new pilots like all sea-faring nations used to treat pilots back in the day: you're a target and you're going down.
Oh and doesn't all this news put a nice perspective on the fags at the RIAA calling downloading music "piracy"? The worst thing you can say about downloading 'un-paid-for' music that someone would rather you pay for is that the downloader is bootlegging the music. Pirating? HARDLY. In reality one should simply say the downloader is downloading. And the RIAA should be traded for the captive captain ... not that the pirates would want a bunch of sharks on board.
