Free coffee this morning tastes like bug spray. Does that stop me from drinking it? Hell no! I figure if I had any bugs in my gut they're dead now

One more short day on the road. 4 hours and change according to TomTom, which is my map this trip. Started with the Droid in navigator mode, but it eats it's own battery even when on the charger. Droid was great one night when I asked it to find me a Motel 6 room based on the location I was currently passing. Voice activated find stuff is what I mean by "asked it". Confirmed what it heard, then followed it's directions to the next exit. Today maybe it will find Denny's for me for breakfast. For actual navigation purposes though, a navigation device beats the pants off a cell phone.

OMG rain. About an hour of it in Ohio yesterday, and the weather channel the night before said it would be wet the rest of the trip. So any non-rain time behind the wheel is a good thing right? Raining hard enough earlier to wake me up, but not get me out of bed. Supposed to be wet all day out on the Island too. Yay?

Starting to think hard about the return trip. Would really like to have most of Sunday at home before school starts bright and early Monday morning. But that isn't now so I shouldn't sweat it eh?
