@Gary: hey check this out: if you think about it, this is a case where a private citizen with a gun prevented a crime without firing a shot. Clearly the asshole with the bat had an intention of using the bat. Maybe on just the car, but maybe on the driver yah? But this will never make it to a "gun statistic" situation because the trigger didn't get pulled.

All I'm saying is there's reasons we got and love guns over here. The ability to defend yourself against bad guys is NOT one of the reasons we got 'em, but is most certainly one of the reasons we love 'em.

Too bad the video got pulled out by youtube. I would have loved to see what everyone's talking about.
